Almost every single "all-in-one system optimizer" program is either a scam, useless or potentially dangerous to your system. You should avoid the majority of them and keep things simple.
CCleaner is a basic file cleaner that can be customized to regularly scan certain programs or areas of your drive for junk files that can be swept away.
It also has a registry cleaner which is considered to be the only safe registry cleaner out there because it does not muck its hands in parts of your registry that are not meant to be fiddled with. Other registry cleaners approach things from a "nuke everything" attitute and this can cause your PC to turn into a brick.
It also has a file shredder if you need to securely delete sensitive information. This, along with a good defragger like Puran Defrag or Defraggler, and an anti-virus are all you really need to run regularly to keep your PC running at its best. Everything else is just fluff.
Keep in mind that programmers will lie to you just to make some more money on their programs. CCleaner is very popular though and Piriform, the developers have had a good reputation for years now. All in one programs aren't worth it usually because they don't specialize in any of the tasks they perform.
